Refuelling Under 200 Calories Per Meal
Refuelling gives a holistic view on food. It talks about how calories are made and used in our bodies, why reducing calorie intake does not always lead to weight loss and why calories are just a third of the full story of weight loss. It provides a balanced perspective on macronutrients (fats, proteins, carbohydrates, fibre, and water), food groups like whole grains, dairy, meats, vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices as well as on the importance of including micronutrients in your food. The forte of Refuelling Under 200 Calories Per Meal lies in the different healthy recipes all under 200 calories, for 6 meals a day, through all the days of the weak so that a rut does not set in discouraging you from your goal of healthy living! It leaves space for a treat a day. The book also offers 6 bonus recipes! Refuelling Under 200 Calories Per Meal is supplemented with tables and reference charts that enrich your understanding of food, recipe and nutritional concepts.
So, what are the new books she is working on?
Mamta is currently working on two literary projects which she is dedicating to her twin daughters. The books are a shift in focus from the Self-Help and Reference genre she has produced so far. Truly a versatile person, she is looking at releasing her Fiction works in 2012 and 2013. When asked on why she had decided to make the shift? She counter-questioned in reply, “Why not? Who stops us from realising our full potential? Why compartmentalize ourselves? The books are a search by me, for me. It does not mean I will not be writing any more self-help books but right now I am happy doing things differently.”
An Omnibus Of Stories
One of the fiction works that will see a launch next year will be a collection of short stories. Each novelette depicts some facet of the hypocritical, fast, modern lives of the metro-living, upwardly-mobile families weaving in them drama and sensationalism.
A Meeting Of Choice
This book is still at it’s nascent stage and is scheduled for release in 2013. The book also has a contemporary Indian setting and is one with which students from colleges and universities and working singles can identify. It revolves around college life and challenges of finding that one person who is right for you.
